Belief is powerful and valuable. I define belief as imagining an invisible thing that is real and powerful. Even the definition of words fall into this category of belief. I find that all people have belief. As beliefs coexist with experiential patterns proving their validity we begin to accept the belief at a subconscious level. I imagine that the development of our perception during childhood is largely the result of beliefs being programmed at a subconscious level. The magician will understand people's subconscious beliefs. Beliefs can be thought of as programming. It is easy and interesting to notice the power of programming manifest in our reality.
Some people believe they are being watched. Others do not believe they are being watched. Whether or not we really are being watched is different from whether or not we believe we are being watched. And by who? I believe I am being watched by others who have powers beyond my own. I actually want to be watched more. I want more attention and awareness because I believe that I can be very helpful to people who are in need of help. And I believe I can be very helpful to other people who want to be helpful. I also believe I need balance. I need to balance my work, family, and fun. And it is nice when work and family are fun!
I try to choose powerful beliefs intentionally! I believe I am important and I have a purpose. Whether this is true or not, it is a powerful belief that motivates me. I believe I am doing good work by preparing for my dream of the future. I prepare myself and the world. I prepare those who want to work with me. I believe that suffering is proportional to relevant awareness. And I know that information technology is capable of enhancing our awareness of relevant information. Note that the relevance is dependent on the goal. I believe decreasing the experience of abusive suffering is a high goal. My highest goal is to listen and remember God the omniscient who speaks to my heart.
I believe that I can discover and imagine new ways to meet my goals. This blog post is part of the noise. And I intend to rise above the noise. I calculate risks. I am cautious. I need to be more alert. But this is where my heart is leading. This is where God is leading. I know I can rise above the noise using my creative freedom and opportunities. I believe the information technology will be created with or without me. But I am learning. The tax payer funded my invisible master's degree as a software architect. It was all OJT (On the Job Training). And now God will provide my invisible PhD as a software architect bent on being helpful!

Warrior's Mind
When it comes to mind control we can not always be sure of intent. I truly believe that most people have bias and that bias has the power to shape our mind if we do not maintain the warrior's mind. We must have a warrior's mind to thwart our own bias which shapes the self and others. We must have a warrior's mind to thwart the bias of others. I saw an Article on Fox News Latino that had an image shown below:
Who is Adam Kwasman? I looked him up on Google+ and realized that my brain thought Kwasman was the angry man on the left while the truth is that Kwasman was the calm man on the right. So the warrior must take great care to control the mind and how it interprets information. Did the red shirt catch my eye? If so - even some text below the image saying "Kwasman - right" may have been ignored by my subconscious mind. But there wasn't even any text. Perhaps the information was intended to shape minds? Be very careful when you see an image because our subconscious mind was built to automatically interpret the information from our eyes. Optical illusions/delusions are very real.
The modern world is full of ignorance because people have not been taught to be a warrior. My writing on this blog is merely a mental exercise to help me learn to be a warrior. Beliefs differ from person to person and although we may share some similar beliefs the totality of our beliefs as a whole are unique because our beliefs are the result of experience. As the warrior begins to view the totality of their beliefs with more clarity we gain control of our self because we better know our self. We begin to see how our beliefs are not harmonious with each other. We see this obvious truth in the world as different people with different beliefs are unable to live together peacefully. But this is only the result of individuals who simultaneously hold internal beliefs that are not in harmony. As more people become warriors who have harmonized their personal internal beliefs there will be more harmony in the world.
The reason I am able to learn to be a warrior is because I have practiced emptying my metaphorical cup. I practiced doing this before I understood the metaphor by being agnostic. Agnosticism is a belief that you can't know. I am no longer a dogmatic agnostic. And I was only a dogmatic agnostic for a small time. But it gave me the mental capacity to switch my mind into the agnostic state in order to better view the information without being shaped by the lens of belief. I don't believe I am perfect because that belief is a dangerous one. Agnosticism let me see that some beliefs are unknowable - yet their influence on the health of the individual and society are very knowable.
I have my personal traits which I have acquired through the environmental influences. And this makes my earthly efforts toward martial art unique. All of our paths are unique. And a good teacher will help to identify the most basic information which facilitates the student's potential. Remember we are all ignorant. Combine this truth with all of our economic and government social systems and you begin to understand why we shouldn't be so dependent upon other people to provide for ourselves and those we love. We must also realize that our social systems have evolved for thousands of years. Many people have lived and died while influencing the social systems of their time which have definitely shaped the social systems of our time. My point is that warriors will begin to change the current system as they gain self control. Once people gain self control they will change any and every social system for the better so long as they are alive and able to engage other people.
If a prison is built for the purpose of rehabilitating humans, a warrior within that prison will be very successful at helping others become rehabilitated by gaining self control. This is true for every social system - whether it is economic, education, judicial, or anything else. As warriors wake up and take control of their self they will begin to shape the world. I want you to think about these two questions: "how do we help warriors emerge and how do we help warriors to shape the world?"

Warrior's Way
I thought that everything I did was a mistake because I am not perfect. But what about those moments when a person performs perfectly? The truth is that there are two basic states of mind. I listened to Bruce Lipton speaking with Ralph Smart. Bruce reminded me that there is the thinking mind and the non-thinking mind. And I remembered that the non-thinking mind is most aware of here and now. The non-thinking mind has the highest potential for perfection. And at the most basic level the warrior must achieve control of the mind switching between the thinking and non-thinking mind.
When the mind is thinking the body will resort to subconscious programming and begin to act in habitual ways. A warrior has trained the subconscious mind so that the habitual autopilot responses have the highest potential for perfection.
There are many ways to begin controlling the subconscious programming. The cannabis plant is a tool which can get the mind to stop thinking. This plant also has the power to alter the subconscious mind as well. And the result is paranoia for the person who has not trained sufficiently as a warrior. The warrior does not experience paranoia nor anxiety because the warrior has gained control of the subconscious self. The cannabis plant lets us measure our success as a warrior in development. Ignorant people originally began the war against the cannabis plant's power because it scared them. Ignorant people witnessed the boundary dissolving effects of this mind altering plant as skin color became less important in the minds of the people who used the plant.
Boundary dissolution is the goal of the warrior. And there are many plants that help. Some plants like Iboga even help people overcome lethal addictions within days. And what is a warrior without morality? There are plants that help with this as well. I have experience with psilocybe cubensis mushrooms and salvia divinorum. But many people hold the ayahuasca brew in high regard. Plant concoctions have even gifted me with visions of the future - proving to me the power of the plant to connect us with omniscience of some kind.
The warrior has no rules and follows the heart. Those people who fight for a government are not warriors. People who seek to control you have actually changed the meaning of words to confuse the truth. A warrior knows this because a warrior has sought self control by identifying and eliminating those things which cloud the mind's vision.
Despite the efforts of fearful people to keep your mind in a cage with their laws and mis-education, many other outlets exist to help us. Understand that the usual education system of the empire will avoid a focus on things like yoga, meditation, and powerful art. Technology has allowed powerful art to spread outward from the source into the minds of others - dissolving boundaries if a mind will begin to practice non-thinking awareness.
I am Gavin Palmer. I am a student. And I am a teacher. I want to do good work in this war for self control. This is the root of martial art in my original opinion at this moment: Definition of Martial
Life is martial art. And the war begins at the mind.
